This scam is good – they’ve done a good job of looking legit – they aren’t.

I get that this happens, seniors especially but now a days we are constantly warned about this. What I don’t get is for a $1/2 million request from a vendor, I would think that any changes should have as first priority called said vendor to confirm changes of banking details before the transfer of our tax money. Small precaution but would have saved the City or should I say the taxpayer half million dollars.

  • I received a UK version of the same scam!:

“Hove” your mouse over the “Review Document” button. You should see the link it will go to at the bottom left corner of the window. It’s NOT going to either Simmons Canada OR “DocuSign”.

    It’s going to https://successtosignificancecoach.com/987db866-2b15-442b-a18d-b1ec87994e2c/

It’s highly doubtful that “success to significance coach” has anything whatsoever to do with Simmons Epoxy.

Thank you for this. It would be useful to know exactly the signs/clues that this is a scam. I think I can spot them but some may not be able to do so.
